There is no doubt that many people who choose Bandung as their tourism destination will not miss visiting Kawah Putih located in Ciwidey. Kawah means crater and putih means white. It can represent the object pretty much because white color due to sulfur is dominating the area. The crater is placed on Mount Patuha so it means that visitors will experience cool air temperature in this place.
From the parking area, visitors will have to walk through the concrete stairway to the crater. It is not allowed to touch the water for safety but people will be impressed with the beautiful scenery of the crater. The land looks white everywhere although it is not in winter since this place located in tropical area. The water looks greenish and it enhances the beauty of the crater. People must not forget about the mountains surrounding. Visitors can hike around the crater and they find the dry trees with falling branches and small rocks. Visitors are also able to see the crater from above.
It is necessary to be careful near the crater and people must not ignore about the warning about the sulfur gas because it can be dangerous. This place is used a lot for photo session including pre-wedding photo shoot.
